Flashback Friday.

This was last Summer when I was making clutches for Anthropologie!

This was one of styles I made.
I also did an Oatmeal & Butterscotch version with a flap.

Fabric for the lining of the clutches.

Finding them on the Anthropologie website!

 Finding them IN STORE!
Ahhhhhh!

This was such an amazing project!
I am so happy & grateful I was given the opportunity to work with Anthropologie.
Having my handmade items in-store & online was such an accomplishment for me & SO EXCITING to do!

The Lyon

A few months ago I added this throw blanket into my shop because I had made one for a Christmas present and really loved how it turned out!

& Recently I received a message via etsy for a lovely woman who wanted this throw blanket for her bed, however, she wanted it for her California-King sized bed.
Which is HUGE! But I was up for the task to make this huge massive blanket. Why not?

Here's how it turned out:

Here's a photo I posted on my Instagram while I was still working on the blanket.
This is about the half way point.

This was such an amazing project & I'm really happy about the way it turned out!

Spare Yarn

If you knit or crochet, you have at least one bin or basket like this in your house.
I happen to have about 4 of these around my workspace.

Some people might toss the small amount of spare yarn that they have at the end of a project, but I always keep mine. I'm not sure if it's a normal thing to save it, or if it's just the inner hoarder in me, but I always, or usually find a use for it! Or so I think..

Adding color!

The other day I was scrolling through my shop to see what kind of improvements I can do and I realized that my shop doesn't have THAT much color in it. They're all neutrals and muted colors.
You know, The usual colors that people get during the winter months. And it looked so bland!
So I decided it was time to add some color & LIFE back into my shop!
It needs to look more visually appealing! and not so bland! How boring!

So, Here is what I came up with!

It's still a work in progress!
But I think it definitely adds some life to my once all neutral shop!

New Creations!

I've been spending my summertime working up some new designs & I have really been enjoying it! But all this knitting & crocheting gets me excited for Fall & Winter to come back around!

Here are some of my newest designs that I have added to my shop!
All 3 of these scarves are the biggest scarves in my shop now.
I used 325 yards of yarn to create this huge scarf - so its guaranteed to keep you warm!
[& That's A LOT of yarn!] :D

Anywho, here they are!
They all have clickable links! So go check them out if you like :)

New Additions to DeRoucheau Handmade!

The Colmar Clutch!

Now, for the past 2 weeks I have been OBSESSED with making these clutches. It started out with me not having a basic black clutch in the size and style that I wanted, and I wasn't finding anything in stores that I liked enough to spend my money on, So I figured I may as well make my own! I was originally going to sew one and make it out of really durable, medium weight canvas. Which I actually did, and it turned out nice and all, but I wanted something DIFFERENT. So I sat down one night and crocheted one! And then I feel in love. The process was so fulfilling, (this may be because I miss crocheting my scarves and now that scarf season is over I don't have anything to crochet!) but it was also the fact that I just started something and went with it. No pattern, no idea how I wanted it to turn out, not even an idea in my head. I just started it and went with it!
Now..I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I really love these! They turned out better looking than I was expecting and I think they're just adorable! Haha
So this weekend I am planning on adding more colors to my shop to accompany the Spring/Summer trends, of the bright neons and I will be adding more neutrals too, so there is a color choice for everyone!

What do you think?
